Diane is a Qualified Teacher (BEd), Experienced Artist and Art Instructor who enjoys helping her students learn and practice their drawing skills in her Private Art Studio in the beautiful Scenic Rim.
Drawing is economical (you only need pencil, eraser and paper), very portable and such an enjoyable way of expressing yourself creatively in art. Good drawing skills can also be an excellent preliminary step when creating a great painting.
Diane’s sessions are applicable to any subject you want to draw, and you will be able to develop your own unique style of drawing, as you progress through the class.
Like all skills, drawing can be learnt and improved with knowledge and practice.

Drawing Classes
Basic Drawing Class - Part One
A six week course for complete beginners, covering the principles, techniques and skills that will enable you to learn to draw.
Drawing is a skill that can be easily learnt like any other subject, e.g. math, geography, sewing, playing the violin etc.
The key to success is patience and practice.

Lines, Shapes and Values
The Human Body
